Ed Sheeran // +–=÷x Tour

On September 9, 2023, Ed Sheeran was scheduled to perform at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, with openers Russ and Maisie Peters. On the day of the show, there were technical problems with the stage setup, forcing the team to make the call to reschedule the show. Fans had already been waiting hours in the hot sun. Some had even passed out due to the heat. When the news broke of the postponement, fans could be seen crying as they walked away. Some had purchased flights and hotels, and some had even traveled from other countries. The sadness, frustration, and anger were very much justified, even if there was no one to blame for the unexpected setback.

Ed did his best to cycle through and take photos with a small group of fans who were able to make it indoors, which was very kind of him to do. However, with nothing else planned for the evening, it would have been nice for him to greet more fans or do an acoustic set.

The show was rescheduled for October 28th. This time, rather than Maisie Peters, Dylan would be performing as the opener, alongside Russ. Both put on an incredible performance, filling the arena with tons of energy.

Being close to Halloween, Ed came on stage dressed as the character "chucky," with phenomenal makeup done by Vegas local makeup artist Brandy Neugebauer-Quinto.

He performed a good mix of old and new songs and even brought out Vegas native, Brandon Flowers of The Killers, to perform a few songs. It was an incredible production and well worth the wait. Ed is an extremely talented musician and live performer. If you have not been to one of his shows, I would definitely add it to your bucket list!

Photos were shot with the following equipment: Canon R5, RF 70-200 2.8, RF 15-35 2.8, RF 24-70 2.8 // Peter McKinnon Nomatic 25 L bag.
